How much is a complete set of 1986 Topps baseball cards, mint condition?

my husband has a complete set of 1986 Topps baseball cards, in mint condition and was wondering how much they were worth…I tried looking on line for him and couldn’t really find anything.

It’s a nice, attractive set of cards that saw high production. No great rookies, but it’s full of the great stars and now, many hall of fame players who were active then. Unfortunately, the ready supply of them keeps the value down, but what really hurts when you try to sell online is the cost of shipping. A large set like this costs anywhere from $7 to $10 to ship, and if the set is worth $15 to someone, and a truly Mint set would be, that cost of shipping comes off of what they will pay. Meaning you get $5 to $8, minus whatever selling fees you have.

If you want to sell, try to find a local buyer so that shipping won’t come into play. You don’t have a whole lot to lose by hanging onto it and keeping it Mint for another 30 years.
